Born in Madison Wisconsin, USA in 1991. She studied fine art while attending an arts middle school. After graduating from SVA in Manhattan, New York, she returned to Korea and began her career as an artist under the name '하이다나’ in earnest while working as a creative director and graphic designer at TIN Studio. She initially started out with her pieces in her eclectic art style, but in 2020 she experimented with a style of her work consisting of black lines and bold color blocks for her dogs, which has become her signature style. The motif she chose for her work was inspired by the two Bichon Frize dogs who live with her, aged 5 and 7.

She has collaborated with Samsung, Nike, Shake Shack, Casetify, Aromatica, etc. and has exhibited in Korea and Taiwan.
